AutomataOS (“AutomataOS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides done-for-you AI-powered websites, search engine optimization, and automation services to small businesses, primarily across the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites at automataos.ai and automataos.ca (the “Sites”) and to the services we provide (the “Services”).

We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

Information you give us

When you submit a form, request an audit, book a call, or become a client, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, business type, and anything you choose to tell us in a message.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit our Sites, we may automatically collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

Information we process on your behalf

To deliver the Services, we may handle data connected to your business, such as your Google Business Profile, website content, customer enquiries, reviews, and call or message records routed through automations we build for you. We process this information as a service provider, on your instructions, to operate the Services you have engaged us for.

To respond to your enquiries and provide audits, quotes, and proposals;
To deliver, maintain, and improve the Services;
To communicate with you about your account, billing, and support;
To send service updates and, where you have consented, occasional marketing;
To measure and improve our Sites and marketing;
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues;
To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Consent

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent, which may be express or implied depending on the sensitivity of the information and the context. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain Services.

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. Our Sites and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to individuals under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Your continued use of the Sites or Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
